Theory test consist of two sections:

  • Multiple Choice
  • Hazard Perception

Multiple choice section lasts for 57 minutes and you need to answer 43 out of 50 questions to pass the theory test.

Hazard perception section is based on a series of 14 video clips shows everyday road scenes. Each video clip contains one developing hazard ( cause you to change speed or direction) and one of the video clips will have two developing hazards.he The earliest you identify the developing hazard the highest you score (5 points).You need 44 out of 75 to pass the hazard perception

To pass your theory test you need to pass both parts.
